This qualification represents the entry level for those seeking employment within the health and fitness industry, it will allow you to work with the general population, planning safe and effective programmes to improve health and fitness and promote a healthy lifestyle.
During this course you will gain an understanding of how to screen new clients and assess their levels of fitness, demonstrate and coach safe and progressive exercise and be capable of scaling an exercise to the exerciser’s ability level.

Method of Delivery
This programme is delivered over 6 weeks (part-time) and involves a mixed learning environment.
There are live workshops which are run:
- Tuesday and Thursday 18:30 - 21:00
- Saturday 9:00 - 16:00
Students are also required to read assigned papers and recommended reading.
The online platform allows students to interact on study topics and view notes relating to the content to be covered in the live workshops.
Logbooks and MCQ's are given to check students’ progress from module to module.
There is a final short answer MCQ exam plus a Practical exam.
